Steel & Roofing System can provide the entire construction service from initial drawings to the completed building for virtually any scale of project required.

Design & Detailing:

Using our Stru-Cad drafting system including a library of standard details and connections, a full design and detailing service is provided for our annual production of approximately 10,000 tonnes.

Blast Cleaning & Corrosion Protection:

All shot blasting is carried out by our fully automated blasting machine, which can process all standard sections and lattice frames up to 1500mm wide. All types of Alkyd or Epoxy paint systems can be applied in our spray –shop. I addition to this we can also provide a one or two hour intumescent painting service, with the fireproofing being carried out on or off site.

Structural Structures:

1. Multi-Storey frames-commercial and retail developments
2. Atrium Steelwork-tubular, solid or standard sections
3. Industrial and Warehouse Structures-single and multi-span portal frames and all types of truss work
4. All ancillary steelwork, mezzanine floors, stairways, handrails, access ladders etc.

Welding:

We provide a fully certified welding service on-site and in our workshop, including inspection and testing. We are also experienced at welding special grades of steel. All our welders are fully qualified with such work being carried out in compliance with the codes of practise BS EN 287 & BS EN 288

Roofing & Cladding:

Steel & Roofing Systems supply and fit all types of cladding including composite cladding systems, Architectural cladding systems (incorporating integrated windows and curtain walling) and single ply EPDM roofing membrane. Our Acknowledged expertise in the fields of roofing and cladding ensures that all of the projects undertaken are completed to the highest standard and specifications.

The supply and fitting of the various types of metal decking along with through deck shear stud welding is another service provided by our company.

Our cladding division perfectly compliments our structural steelwork and in conjunction with the supply and fitting of roller shutter, sectional insulated and personnel doors we can provide our clients with completed building envelope.

Farm Buildings:

Here at Steel & Roofing System we have a long tradition in the construction of all types of Agricultural Buildings from simple Lean-To structures to Slatted Units/ Grain Stores etc.

In the construction of these buildings there are a number of options available.
